Well that is not how it is supposed to look...

So I will admit that I did a test run on the fox applique... and Wow! um, I needed help. But first let me say that I used some scrap pieces (not the minky) and didn't really put a lot of effort into it. Well it showed. Did I get a little discouraged? Yes. Did I look online for ways to make it better? Yes. And what was it that would make all the difference... fusible webbing. I knew that I would need some but didn't know how much of a difference it would make!

So I headed down to JoAnns to get some and it was just what I needed! I tested out the bear...and it looks okay. I am still getting used to the nice satin stitch setting on my sewing machine (thanks Dallin for the best Christmas gift ever), but I am thinking that everything will work out. phewwww...

Why is there no picture of my test runs on here... well because I don't want you to see them of course! But I do have all morning tomorrow to work on some animals so I promise that the next one I make I will take a picture of so you can see my progress. Whatever it may look like!
