Intel Lego League
My nephew Payton is on a team that competed at this years Intel Oregon First Lego League State Tournament. Dallin and I decided to stop by and check it out. It was pretty cool. Each team had a lego robot that they built and programed do complete certain tasks and obstacles.
They had a large area around the competition table taped off and no adults could enter it. Each team had a coach that helped them the whole way but that day the coach could not even touch the robot. The kids had to do everything. What a great program for the kids that are interested in engineering.
I didn't get the best pictures but here are a few to show him off a little. Here is their team practicing.
Good job Payton!
