As I logged into Blogger ready to post this evening I noticed that this will be my 100th post. And I am happy to say that most of them are about Benton. Because let's be honest, he is the best. And to celebrate my 100th post I have lots to share.

On Friday Tonya came over for dinner. Marcos went to Utah and Dyonasis was at her aunt's house so it was just her, Thaine and baby Atticus. We always love getting the babies together. Benton is really interested in Atticus, he just stares at him with fascination.

Intel has a family BBQ today for everyone in Dallin's group. It was down at Rood Bridge Park. It was nice to meet so many people that Dallin works with. They had great food, balloon animals, field games, cotton candy, snow cones, and bounce houses. Once again, something Benton will love in a year or two. But until then, we had fun.

I think we decided that we will wait another few months before trying one of these again.

Lately Benton has been showing all the signs of being ready to eat. I looked it up online and they suggest to wait until almost 6 months old but we decided that he was ready. So.....

We got a little tray for his bumbo

He was all about it! Or at least all about the spoon going into his mouth

But most of the rice cereal ended up

I think it was a success. He ate, he spit and he got messy. Everything that should happen the first time a baby eats. We will keep trying this for a few weeks and see how he does.
