My new favorite thing about fall

A friend of mine gave me a bag of apples a few days ago. I was so grateful! So was Benton.

We gave him a whole apple and he played with it for a couple of days. Who says you have to buy all these fancy toys for your kids to play with. Some of Benton's favorite toys are boxes, a tablespoon, an apple, and his blanket.

Anyway back to the apples. With so many of them I decided to make applesauce. It is super easy and so good! Just peel any amount of apples and chop them up into pieces. Then add a little bit of water and cook them for about 20 minutes. yummmm.

And I can go on and on about the smell. I want to make applesauce everyday so my house can smell wonderful. Benton loves this stuff, and so do we.
