Library Reading time
Our friends invited Benton and I to go to the library for baby reading time on Friday mornings. It is 45 minutes specifically for newborns to age 2. Last week was our first time and we loved it! So we went again today, and invited Tonya and Atticus to come with us.
For the first few minutes the lady read a few nursery rhymes and then sang some songs. Next she handed out the same book to everyone to read to their baby. Or in this case, for Atticus to read himself. The woman said that reading the same book many times is good for babies and it helps them increase their vocabulary.
After that they bring out the toys. Benton was ready to crawl everywhere!
That is until he found the toy bin...
He started pushing this tractor around the whole room while saying vroom vroom.
But the tractor wasn't enough, he needed something bigger to push
After reading time we go get new books. Benton likes that part. Want to guess where we will be every Friday morning this month?
That looks SO fun! I wonder if our library does that? I will have to look into it! I also love all of your projects, your house looks so great! I have that same toy dilemma in our corner! Let me know what you decide to do! Miss you guys!
