Wooden Shoe
Wednesday was the perfect day to go out to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. I went a few years ago and have wanted to return ever since. This year was the year that it finally happened. We invited Chantel and Norah to come with us and we all had a blast.
Besides the 40 acres of tulips to love, they have many things to entertain kids along the way.
Benton and Norah loved seeing how fast their duck could get the other other end (okay maybe they just liked to pump the water... and the ducks).
Neither of them were to sure about sitting on the hay
Anyone want some lemonade?
Now for some tulips
Want to guess how many there are???
I have no idea, but it is an amazing site to see rows and rows of tulips
Once Benton hit the ground he didn't stop moving! He crawled everywhere! Hence most of the pictures turned out like this
We did finally get the kids to sit down and take a few pictures, but that did not last very long
They had tractors everywhere
And even a little cow ride
Just as we were about to leave Benton found the toy tractors... and loved them.
We were there for almost three hours! Time just flew by. It was so beautiful and so fun. I hope to go back every year. Here is another picture, just for fun
I love seeing his dirty little knees. It makes me smile.
